Do you ever get sunburned? If so, how long do you have to be in the sun to get sunburned? Do you sometimes wear sunscreen to prevent getting sunburned if you're going to be outside for the whole day?

I get sunburned very easily. If I'm outside for more than 25-30 minutes without sunscreeen on, my face, neck, and arms will get a little bit sunburned. If I have my shirt off, my back will get sunburned as well.

Now every time I go outside, I put tons of sunscreen on to prevent getting sunburned. Sometimes it doesn't even help, but a lot of the time it does. I carry a bottle of sunscreen in my backpack so I can put it on before P.E.

I got the bad skin from my mom. She got sunburned really badly when she was a kid. My dad and my brother have good skin.

I hate getting sunburned so much that if I had three wishes, one of my wishes would be to never get sunburned.

What about you?

I got sunburn one time really really bad. I sat at a creek for 5 or so hours without a shirt or sunscreen.  When I got back home I had someone put different lotions on my back and some of them made the problem worse.  So if you ever get burned, be careful what you use!

Needless to say I learned my lesson!  For now on I am very careful.  Getting bad sunburn also made hair grow on my back more Sad

I was advised by our family doctor that it is delicate to be exposed on the sun. Aside from sunburns we can also get skin cancer when directly exposed. He also advised to use sun protection lotion or sunblock.

I used to love sunbathing when younger but am now more concerned about wrinkles and skin cancer so tend to use sun lotion most times I'm out for long.
